Oh I misunderstood it then. I'm cool with this then, w/e.
I understand wanting to save money as much as anyone else, but retail taxes are pretty important sources of local/state income. Plus everyone is supposed to pay these anyway, even if the retailers didn't collect it from you.
I almost never escape paying the tax in CA but I still order plenty online. Saving gas and not having to deal with people.

Supreme Court: Warrant generally needed to track cell phone location data. 5-4 ruling.
Did that really need be a 5-4 decision?

Whoof, warrants for cell phone tracking AND they took away curtilage, this Court is supporting the Fourth in a way I haven't seen in a long time.
It's going to be wild when in two years John Roberts will be the third most liberal justice on the court.
As much as a fuck head as Scalia was, he would've been on the side of privacy here.
This guy isn't so impressed.

A skim makes that seem like he's more complaining about the way our judical system is organized and practiced rather than any real meat of what happened in the SCOTUS.

Supreme Court chooses not to hear the case based around the "Making A Murderer" documentary. The conviction stands.

Travel Ban upheld in a 5-4 decision. Well played Mitch.
Man I hope those anti hillary liberals love their new supreme court.
I"d like to hear a good argument about why the next Democratic president with full control of Congress shouldn't just increase the size of the court because of Gorsuch.
probably the only argument you'd be capable of understanding is because the next Republican president with full control of Congress would do the same thing.
