Was the other one about physical abuse or just being a really bad boyfriend?

Are the police even going to give a shit about one instance of a woman being pulled off a bed by her ankles resulting in no injury?

cog·ni·tive dis·so·nance
First I am hearing about this.

That is as far as the 2nd accuser's story went.In 2006, Amy Alexander claimed he “berated” and “pushed” her during an on-and-off relationship in the 1990s and early 2000s. He had sought a restraining order against her in 2005, and the next year a judge dismissed her request for a restraining order against him, according to the Star Tribune.
Big difference between Brett & Keith is that Keith is actively asking to be investigated by different organizations to officially clear his name.
berating and shoving your partner is abuse
and i'm glad Keith is calling for investigations but next time let's not do one from the lawyers donating to his campaign yeah
i dunno i'm not William Blackstone
but seems like a good move
Ellison is accused of less and is being far more cooperative than Kavanaugh was. Cmon bruh, that's like comparing USDA Select to Prime.

I mean shes at least able to prove they were in the same room together
At a certain level berating definitely becomes abuse, and physically shoving someone, especially if it happened more than once, not a lot of wiggle room there.
please point to the instance when the two were compared
allegations of abuse have nothing to do with any other allegations of abuse. they must be evaluated and investigated on a case by case basis without thought to what is happening with regards to any other such accusations. hypocrisy in regards to public reaction can certainly be pointed out but the posts were solely a criticism of the investigative process to which Ellison has thus far been subjected. and i don't know how any rational person would not criticize it. the people giving him money to win an election say he didn't do anything bad. it's so self-evidently wrong i'm not even sure how to unpack it further.
please illustrate an instance in which berating and shoving your partner is not abusive
WH Backs Trump's Berating of Ford Because He was "Stating the Facts"

Ah you're right, I mistook an earlier comment for something it wasnt. Still, a lot of bitching for dems doing what they should be doing? I'm not sure I follow what's going on. This was passed off to an impartial 3rd party to investigate, so what's the problem?

I could try to get upset but the reality is I don't really care what he thinks?
He has more people insult him and mock every word he says.
If he wants to behave this way and the WH stands behind it w/e. I got better things to be concerned about. I myself mock him regularly and his behavior towards women and if he ever wanted to take a swing at mocking me I'd call it fair. I still would vote for a moderate Republican regardless of his ridiculous behavior. It's not like he alone has kept me from EVER CONSIDERING a future Republican. I do want the entire party to shift away from him but w/e, tow the line you cowards.
It's not like his opinion is going to come as a shock to anyone and it's not like we're shocked the people working under him will support him.
Except its not just him its the office itself.
Boom got'me.
Collins, Flake, and Murkowski care because after they leave their respective offices they still have to make a living. And usually that living is by exploiting the network they've developed while in office.
Voting no on a conservative pipedream that has existed longer than I've been alive would probably destroy that network.
