Accuser came forward and has talked about the allegations. Confided to a therapist in 2012 and has taken a FBI polygraph test in August to prove that she's telling the truth because you all know how this is gonna run.

“These are all the ills that I was trying to avoid,” she said, explaining her decision to come forward. “Now I feel like my civic responsibility is outweighing my anguish and terror about retaliation.”

Republican Senators Jeff Flake and Bob Corker saying the Senate Judiciary Committee should not vote on Kavanaugh's nomination until they can look into the whole he probably tried to rape a girl thing. Flake sits on the committee which holds an 11-10 Republican split so could delay the process all on his own if everything else breaks along partisan lines. the vote had been scheduled for Thursday.

it is of course not sit around and start sucking each other's dicks time, but it is a far cry from the 'no one will care' line being touted around here earlier. this kind of declared opposition is an order of magnitude or two greater than anything Kavanaugh's nomination had previously experienced, went from being a sure thing to a ehhh probably maybe, and quite surprisingly the opposition came from not the two most liberal feministy Republican Senators. have a hard time seeing how they sit out the demands to delay now, and an equally hard time seeing blue dog Dems cross party lines. it is not the war but it is a battle. anyone living in Arizona or Tennesse should prolly fire off atta boy letters.
