We had it all. We were going to have a 5-4 liberal court finally. We were going to have our first female president. We were going to solidify the progressive legislation we've been putting forth and lock in protections for women, minorities, and immigrants. We were going to protect the environment, work on wage inequality, and build our alliances across the world.

It's the progressive part of the base that made it Hillary a shit candidate? It was the progressive part of the base that showed through leaked e-mails just how much everyone on the inside was rigging it for her? It was the progressive part of the base that told her not to campaign in Wisconsin, or Michigan; but rather be more concerned about running up vote totals in Los Angeles? How about turning away volunteers and not showing union support and solidarity for working class people?

Oh, and maybe this is neither here nor there, but Bernie supporters went to Clinton more than Clinton supporters went to Obama. But, yeah, "whiny progressives" are what did this in, and not every fucking thing else related to Clinton and that shit campaign of hers.

If you're going to place blame, place it correctly. Otherwise, gtfo.

Among registered voters, Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who wanted Sanders to win the primaries are slightly less apt to be “certain” to vote or to have already voted than Clinton backers (83 percent vs. 92 percent). But among those who are likely to vote, 82 percent of Sanders backers in the primaries support Clinton today, a number that has grown from a low of 68 percent in July. jfc..... 60+ senators sign letter to Schumer & McConnell about opposing rule change. There's at least 20 Republicans on the list who voted for it, plus the 2-3 Dems who voted with them.

Hindsight only means your head is up your own ass, Senators.

That letter is for preserving the legislative filibuster, not the SCOTUS filibuster. That some of senators on the list voted to go nuclear with SCOTUS but want to keep it for regular legislation brings up an interesting question.
