Isn't there actually a whole psychological thing about how being sexually assaulted at a young age actually can stunt your voice changing?

missed this but yes, to a degree. sexual trauma of a prepubescent child or a pubescent teen can arrest psychological development and as an adult these individuals often affect vocal patterns very similar to those they spoke with at the age at which they experienced the trauma. the best known example of this is probably Mike Tyson who spoke throughout his career with a high-pitched boyish lilt that roughly matched the age at which he was molested as a child. not everyone who gets sexually abused has a young sounding voice, not all who have a young sounding voice have been sexually abused, but there does seem to be a correlation.
