Ugh. Well, hopefully large parts of his bonuses are weight based incentives.
Looks like Pete Carroll wants him in the 240's.

You'd think professional athletes playing positions that have an average shelf-life of 5 years would take better care of themselves physically.
In the limited action you got to see him, CJ Prosise looked pretty legit. Can't remember the injury that took him out(broken leg?) but hopefully he'll be back to 100% for you guys
They are still shopping Jamaal Charles too even after signing Lacy.
Can't really say they don't care, they've hosted O-Line men, even offered Lang more money then he took in DET
It's been a long term problem for them at this point, and they really haven't shown an effort to improve it. Even when they won the Super Bowl their O line was a bit suspect, and it's gotten worse every year since then.
They also actively traded away their best O-lineman Max Unger for a non-pass blocking TE. Admittedly, a very, very good non-pass TE, but still.
To be fair, there is a dearth of affordable offensive linemen right now - wanting to upgrade the offensive line isn't as simple as going out and signing a few good men. Field Gulls did a good writeup of what was actually available and out there to sign last offseason, and the cupboard is pretty bare. Luke Joeckel is an intriguing pickup, but I don't know that he'll be the answer. Hopefully, they can hit upon a couple of players in the draft, and 2016 rookies Ifedi and Fant can improve now that they have a season under their belt.
Bears signed Connor Barth to a 1yr deal
New England signed Rex Burkhead
New England re-signed Dont'a Hightower 4yrs 43.5mil (19 gtd)
Vikes signed former GB 1st rounder Datone Jones to a 1 year/3.5-5M contract couple days ago.
Hopefully the switch back to a 4-3 works out great for him, could be a decent bargain
Minnesota signing Latavius Murray
It addresses a need, hopefully we'll be able to find someone in this years draft, pretty sure it's a team option beyond the first year which is beneficial cause Murrays not all that but hopefully he can be decent
Dontari Poe to falcons for 1yr/8m
Great get if he reverts to prior form, otherwise no long-term harm done. Decent bet

man really wish broncos nabbed him on that deal
So Beast Mode is mulling coming out of retirement to join Raider nation.
Would love to see him come back, but if he's comes out of retirement and SEA opts not to release him, could have Feast Mode and Beast Mode on the same team!
what's so appealing about the raiders? i've never understood.
