Yup, when dispensing I swirl it around in my cup a bit, take a small sip to ensure quality of the pour before filling the rest of my cup.

Anytime I ask for Coke at a restaurant and they offer me Pepsi, i feel personally insulted they would offer such an inferior alternative.

FYI for people who keep mentioning Dr. Pepper, just realize that they are an independent company and who distributes and bottles it will vary depending on which part of the world you live in. It could be Coke, Pepsi, or someone completely different.

Choosing the right cola is hard; nobody knew it could be this complicated, but it doesn't have to be. Just look at what's going on in a Coke can. They're not sending you their best flavors, they're flat, they're too syrupy, they rot your teeth, and some, I assume are good sodas. But only one soda has the bigly taste that can make your meal great again, and that's the really really good taste of Pepsi.
