Third person is for bernie voters. FPP is for their wifes boyfriend.

I like FPP more because you and your opponents aren't third personing around corners and playing peekaboo back and forth cause you can see when the other person is holding an angle. I've had my fair share of firefights where I'm at a disadvantage trying to peek in FPP, but it feels right to me. Maybe it's just from playing CS for a long time when I was younger.
FPP is super wonky, especially with the torbjorn eye-level but i much prefer it over 3rd person. there is no stupid 3rd person bullshit with people doing ridiculous things looking at you from impossible angles. i agree that it feels "right"
It feels like you're really low to the ground sometimes, but when you run up to a teammate to try to check your eye level against their character it's the correct level. I'm not sure if it's some funky thing with their camera angle, or if it was just because only TPP was available at the release so it seems low.
I don't even notice it anymore.
basically where they put the camera is set for 3rd person and not 1st. so it's lower than it should be. but they have to do some serious programming to get it correct, which they said they will do.
The FPP is a bit wonky, but it isn't too bad.
It could do with being a little higher, it feels like you're 5"4' at the moment or something.
The higher the default cam goes the better sightline you get vs prone as well, which will be nice.
I play FPP solo and TPP with friends. My friends feel that FPP is a little high level for them so they need TPP to help with spacial awareness. I see people getting flanked all the time even in TPP and they are completely oblivious.
My headphones are up super high when I'm playing so I can hopefully hear everything. Rain obviously fucks that up a bit, but otherwise I generally can hear anyone coming up within a certain range. My largest problem is spotting people if they're along a tree line.
Colorblind problems.
have the colorblind options alleviated any of that at all? i always wonder how much of a difference they make in games.
They only help with the circle, red zones, and the sights. Spotting guys against some backdrops is still difficult for me.
EDIT: I use protanopia settings if anyone is wondering.
I just wish they'd fix the model loading issue already. Nothing worse than trying to start off somewhere hot to score a few kills early, and then you die in a house from gunfire in a room all by yourself. It also brings to point the game's flawed trust with the client since the server clearly isn't doing any collision checks on its end for gunfire as a shortcut to alleviate processing time for 100 players.
Another grief is that first-person sights is still not aligned to where it is in the 3d world, still leading you to have to be consciously aware of the lips of windows/fences/hilltops possibly eating your shots even though your sight is clearly over them.
it's that torb eye-level!
i've been playing fortnite a little bit and i gotta love how i don't have to worry about half the stupidity i deal with every single game of pubg.
About Fortnite, it's currently free on every system.

Doesn't look very appealing.
i didn't really find the building stuff very appealing but the game's pretty cool.
I haven't been making it past top 30 in solo at all recently. I got too used to the run and gun nature of squad battles![]()
See I'm just the opposite. I play better alone, but want to improve my squad tactics.
Fucking cheaters everywhere now.
Getting auto killed from 900 meters in the fog is fun amirite.
By a VSS to boot.
I haven't payed in a while. Hopefully I continue to not run into blatant cheating.
