Krandor has an inside source, so I'm guessing he's not talking about responses from Deej.
I'm being told that kinda stuff should be impossible because of the anti cheat system running the background, but I dunno man, I saw some weird shit in Crucible today.
Applied to the clan, different from my forum handle (OmegaTurk#1684)
I'm slamming my head against this stupid challenge on prestige and it is starting to hurt my sanity......
I'm honestly at the point where I want to do some timing runs so I can break down the encounter better.
I'll throw my hat into the Nightfall ring. 272 Hunter, Ryunohige#1182
Guided games have been a whole lotta nope.
I'm game to help with shit tonight. Maybe even get a challenge or raid in. Despite what I say, I am a very good player and Serra can confirm that.
I mena, if you're going to do Prestige challenge. Use the fucking no mob cheese. That shit is way too hard, currently, do it it normally.
So I've had to justify not cheesing to a lot of frustrated groups this week, and yes, the fight is hard on prestige. But, it is also doable. A lot of people have been complaining about the lack of content in D2, which is a fair complaint. However, I can't take those criticisms seriously for people who need exploits to get through the available content.
To me personally, this is a challenge and I want to beat it without resorting to an exploit because I believe it is content that requires getting together a group of skilled players who can execute. Not everyone is going to agree with my sentiment, and that is fine -- this is how I feel about it and I'm going to keep working to clear the encounter with the belief that the right group can pull it off.
Short answer, finding four other people who can hold their plates and deal with adds until the next person arrives. It's always one or two people who cannot, and after enough failures, one of the competent people is always the one to go.
Finishing the fight normally on Prestige is fine but the challenge isn't really a challenge so much as it is "play the revive game after every damage phase and hope nobody dies or runs out of ammo in between."
I'm not advocating cheating it either. I'm advocating not doing the challenge because it's not difficult on Prestige, it's just stupid. Even people like Datto are struggling with it and saying not to bother.
261 Hunter here on PC Pluui#1876 hmu for whatever. I probably suck? I don't know.
I only just unlocked it so I still need the first few steps. It doesn't matter to me either way, though I'm inexperienced with Nightfalls and don't know how much that'll help with the whole 5 minutes remaining thing.
That said, 275 Hunter now. Can technically go a few points higher but that requires some questionable gear changes.
I'll add you when I get on.
I need the whole thing, patrols to the Nightfall, as well. Nightfall isn't so bad this week. Kill stuff to get more time. Pay attention to the elements that are strong, and have varied weapons that are hopefully also pretty good.
Yeah 277 is a better power level for me. That way I can use MIDA or Old Fashioned in kinetic, MIDA in energy, and Hawthornes shotgun in Power. That way, with Striker, I have every element and a strong kinetic either way.
Using 2/5/6 build with War Rig chest, or can do 1/5/7 with a slightly lower power chest and do Synthocepts or Mask of the Quiet One. Pretty happy with my builds so far since I can't even mod them with legendary mods yet.
