I got a Hard Light earlier so I'm good on the elements part I've been running that and Nameless Midnight and am loving it so far.

Can save it for another time. I'm not in a hurry to get it done. At this point I'll get more out of getting a new class to 20 and doing the grind over again, transferring my weapons over. Was going to start Warlock tonight. Didn't have the energy yesterday when I finally got Drang done at like 3am, soloing that dumb strike to get to the Servitor.

Pretty easy solo tho, especially since you don't actually have to finish the strike.

Unless you're dumb like me and don't know that. The end of that strike is a major dick-ache solo.

Haha. That's true. It's just before the end, though, so it just takes a lot more time than if you had others with you.

I almost did the whole thing, too. Then I saw which boss it was and said fuck that.

I tried to do the last fight anyways and got him down to like 10% before blowing myself up with my own rocket launcher.

I finished it solo, I died four times, two of which were getting stomped off the ledge and two of which were me killing myself with explosives.

I don't know what causes it, but sometimes collision becomes active for people afk in the tower and you can throw them to their deaths over the edge.

Okay so I'm level 20 and light 206. I got an exotic engram from the story and I'm guessing it's locked at the light level I got it at and there's no point saving it while I gear up?

Also I've been spamming Public Events to get rares to level, is this effective? I know to save things that give better than rares until I'm 260+ but should I be doing adventures or crucible or patrols instead of public events?

Also the gunsmith has a 215 Coldheart for me. If I don't take it now can it go higher in level?

Okay so 208 now and Coldheart at gunsmith is still 215 but my exotic engram from the story is up to 219 and all possible outcomes went up too. Guess I'll save that till 260 and grab the coldheart now.

Keep doing public events and turn in your tokens. The vendors cap at 265 so you should use tokens to get your light up.

Oh, really? So you can only progress with drops after that? Shiiiit, that's almost exactly where I am now

Holy shit.

Kind of. Rep packages and blues are able to drop over 265, but they're going to lag behind since they ignore the extra levels from mods. Still very useful for filling out your slots and keeping good gear from falling too far behind.
