Destiny 2 [PS4/XBONE/PC] (Sept. 6, 2017)

2nd/3rd characters definitely gain power a lot faster than your 1st. I had only played my hunter a bit up to 290+. Decided to make a Titan and was 280+ pretty much the day I hit lvl 20 and finished the story.

Do you guys hit up discord if you're on pc? I check the chat and voice channel now and then but never see anyone on.

Also, how do I register for the discord channel so I don't show up as guest?

I didn't until I played with Boyiee the one night, but I'll check it when I'm on. I don't usually stay in that long if nobody else comes in, but I also don't play more than an hour/hour and a half during weekenights other than Mondays.

I don't know discord well, though, so I can't help much. I just created a discord account and I show up as OttomanRob in there. My avatar is the same as on here to try to limit confusion since the name is different.

Yeah the PC voice chat is some of the bigger garbage I've seen in a while. You almost need to mute the game entirely for it and Max voice Volume. Also you can't choose which output device is used because it will only use your PC's default output sound device. So to use my headphones I have to change default sound device in Windows to head phones and back when done playing.

Meanwhile discord sounds like angels and butterflies and harps and shit and I can keep Destiny sound loud as fuck on speaker's while screaming at people in headphones for not activating heroic public events.

All I'm getting from Lakshmi are shaders now. Did I turn in too many tokens and they ran out of weapons to give me?

After a certain point (30 packages I think?) there's no more gear drops.

Yeah, 30 packages is correct. Guess they bumped it up since there are more items in the pool this time around.

Yeah apparently you can store them in the vault for the next faction rally, but if you keep them in your inventory they will disappear.

What happens if you have them in your vault and then take them out between rallies?

If it's anything like this rerun, it'll only matter if they're in your inventory when the event starts.

I don't think the vault thing is intended, so I could see them changing how it works before the next one though.

Thinking about it, IB tokens will probably reset next time it is run. I wonder if they'll reset things like Trials tokens with the season reset..

The Weep will almost certainly be patched by the time the next one rolls around, and tokens persisting in the vault might change. I wonder if it's worth trying to gather at least a little extra now just in case. Worst case is I lose some time. Best case is I save a lot next time around.
