I want to call bullshit on that 50% increase or people would be raving across the board about increased exotic drops. From my personal experience and from I've seen from streamers is that it is no different than using Medallions. You're lucky to get 1 exotic during the 4 hour period. Unless there is a cap on how many exotics you can get over a time period that we don't know about.

Also, I did an Argos on my Titan last night. Jesus christ with people. Joined a fresh group. Leader didn't know how the encounters worked, only I knew so I ended up leading(At 4am, I was not in the mood to lead). Things go decently well till we get to Phase 2 Argos where I make the Hunter without Nighthawk(I even gave him shit about not having it. He said he didn't have the shards...) so hes on add duty with Bow.

Should have been a simple fight. Nope, he was more focused on dealing dmg that it took nearly 2 hours to kill Argos. After each wipe, I'd see he'd have DPS as high as others and he'd still defend that he was actually on add control. Another player switched to his warlock so he could add control because this hunter was just so fucking stupid.

I made jokes at Fiend for his lack of DD but my god, the complete difference from having someone deal with adds and having no add control....just wow.

Remember it's 50% of what the rate already is. So if the rate is 1% it will go to 1.5%, which is still absurdly low.

That's cause people only talk about nerfs and never the buffs. In the same update they nerfed pulse grenades and public event drops, they also brought up the damage on every other type of grenade and increased the drop rate in other, more time consuming activities -- I think I get four or five drops in every crucible match now.

I think the grenade balance was necessary, and that's coming from someone who plays mostly striker Titan.

I'm not interested in Crucible because I don't find it fun and relaxing. Strikes are fine, but I'm not sure it really even out for time played. There are definitely a lot of drops from the chest, but the time invested is much higher.

Also, in 3 heroic strikes I got one uncommon prophecy drop thingy. So in roughly 45 minutes I got 1. In 45 minutes of public events last night I got 8 uncommon prophecy things and a rare.

The Pulse Grenade nerf was also a rare occasion of Bungie not completely destroying whatever they're touching. Pulses are still really good. They're just not comically better than everything else now.

I do wish they had buffed Thermite damage though.

Got a Masterwork Progeny 1 with +5 range. Might as well keep it for now, I guess. Since it has Outlaw, reload probably isn't a priority, but what would Magazine +10 do? Is it +10 bullets per mag, or +10 to the magazine "stat" so it'd be like 1 extra round in a scout?

I got a Masterwork grenade launcher and dismantled it.

10 is +10 to stat, which seems to be like a 10% increase, so yeah 1-2 bullets

Useless. Range would be best for this one I guess. It has the Tactical Mag perk and that only adds one bullet as is.

So I received the Alexa enabled Ghost replica today... And about 30 mins later was at UPS returning it. Shit is so tiny and bland. It’s all black with no detail and very cheap quality. Not very loud either. My fault for preordering and not waiting for Amazon reviews. For 30 bucks maybe it would be neat, but 90 is a rip off. Would not recommend.
