Destiny 2 Expansion II: Warmind continues your Guardian’s journey with new activities, new weapons and gear, more endgame content, and an all-new story.

Ana Bray, a Guardian long thought lost, searches for a connection to her past… one that could be hidden forever beneath the polar ice cap of Mars. As Golden Age satellites begin slamming back to ground, glaciers begin to thaw, revealing the core of the Warmind Rasputin – and an ancient Hive army bent on its destruction. All-New Destination to Explore

This expansion takes place on an all new destination, Hellas Basin, set within the frozen landscape of Mars’ pole. Players will journey across massive glaciers, and through rocky red caverns, and Hive infested caves in search of new weapons and gear, and to test themselves against new threats and challenges. Warmind features an all new Raid lair, a new Hive faction and brand-new endgame ritual, Escalation Protocol.

• All-new Raid Lair: Spire of Star – The final Raid Lair for the Leviathan, this Raid Lair is one of the pinnacle activities in Warmind and offers players great reward.

• All-new Endgame activity: Escalation Protocol – Escalation Protocol is a player triggered event where players will fight escalating waves of enemies and slay challenging bosses right alongside their friends.

• New themed weapons, armor, and gear to earn – Destination themed armor with matching weapons, brand new and reprised exotics, and a powerful key moment relic will round out player arsenals.

Play Solo or with Friends

• Story Campaign – Delve into the story of Ana Bray, and Rasputin. Explore Hellas Basin Mars and stop the rise of the Hive army.

• Strikes – Three-player cooperative matchmade missions in Destiny 2.

• Raid Lair – A brand-new, six-player activity that takes place on the Leviathan. This Raid Lair offers new areas to explore, new encounters, new rewards, and a brand-new boss.

New Story and Adventures

Warmind adds a new chapter to the world of Destiny 2. Players delve into the story of Ana Bray and Rasputin.

PlayStation Exclusive Content

At launch, PlayStation gamers will get access to an additional timed exclusive (until at least Fall 2018) Strike called The Insight Terminus.

• Zavala needs a team of Guardians to break into a Vex tomb on Nessus that has been overrun by the Cabal. Defeat the powerful Psion commander before he can take over the Vex gateway network and reap the rewards.

• This will also include an earnable timed exclusive* Armor set for each class

At the summit, players were 350 when they tried Escalation Protocol and the best they did was wave three. 340 is the cap you can hit from any activity, so you already have to be doing milestones to even be there, so should be a good challenge.

Curious to hear how the ranks are broken up. Just looking at it, and using Overwatch as a comparison, we're probably talking high-plat/diamond to unlock the gun.

Also, there's an ornament that unlocks for people who hit Legend. I'm ready for that sweet sweet Halo 3 grind!

They mentioned on the stream you'd have to reach Fabled to get the Pulse Rifle, which just based on the list and nothing else seems like it would be around Rank 40.

Unknown has a new video up, but the only thing that he mentioned that wasn't covered in the reveal stream is that Escalation is in 2 zones. We only saw one in the reveal.

People think it is, but Escalation has it's own set of gear with a shotgun with the same model.

This game does a great job at creating allure for previous players who have quit to get the itch to hop back in. Really playing with the idea of picking up this expansion.

I think all of those are the shotgun, unless I'm missing the picture you're referring to -- all the ones I saw had the white shotgun light at the end. There is an image with a weapon from the set which has a blue light though, which is what linear fusion rifles use, so it might be back, but I don't think I saw it in that post.

I'm gonna wait a week before I buy it, but you might see me on haha. What will really make or break the game for me are the Exotic buffs, so it's too bad the armor changes got pushed back. The weapon adjustments will be a decent indicator though, I think, of whether they're going in the direction I want or not.

The 11th and 12th pic down looks more like sleeper then the one you suggested with the blue light. At least design wise to me it does.
