Doubt they have much of a matchmaking system you probably got paired against some PC diehards lol. I expect to be terribad since I havent even picked up Overwatch in a few months.

I wonder if some kind of actual damage parser will be possible on pc D: that was one thing I never really liked about destiny1 on playstation- real hard to tell when people are absolute trash in the raids

I feel like PvP is completely hit or miss. I only played two games, but my second match we had a guy with 5 kills and 2 captures. I was in 3rd with 11 kills and 7 captures... Was he just feeding the whole time? God damn.

the other thing i forgot I didnt like about destiny1 was the need to make 3 of the same class or good luck getting raid drops in a timely manner c.c why is that still a thing

The gear that comes from the raid is only important insofar as the light level it drops at. It's really not necessary to have three of the same class any more.

Pro way to do raid runs was one of each character class and rotate classes with your static as you do the raid runs. Let you know what each persons job was and helped a lot with role perspective. That's how you got gg

this will be i in about 9 hours. never touched Destiny 1 but the hype (and the open beta) are becoming too clamorous to ignore.

Yup, going to be in the same boat. Never played 1, but several friends want to play and now that it's on PC I don't have an excuse.

I think it feels really great on PC. I don't have an amazing PC, but I'm getting around 70-90 fps on decent settings, aiming and movement feels good, but I need to play with key binds. I'm a fan of hold to crouch and sprint, but my desk is an old, small school desk. One of those wood ones with the cubby under the desk top. I don't have enough room for my mouse and keyboard the way I'd like them. It's a pain in the ass for this and OW because people are always jumping around.

Going to give PvP another try tonight. I need to get more used to Destiny PvP. I never played it in D1; I just did the PvE for a while then stopped so I didn't burn myself out. My aim sucks compared to the people I was facing. Or at least I feel that way.

reading about the totally broken controller aim assist in pc beta atm lol

I heard about it on Goth's stream. The aim assist isn't any different, but the recoil patterns are changed for PC so it makes a controller strong.
