Rolling Stone, of all places, is tracking bugs found in the game. Some pretty laughable bad ones.
Roster: Adding or removing a friend on Xbox Live will temporarily remove all friends from the Director Roster on Xbox One.
I haven't looked online, and don't want to, but I think 260 is blue (rare) cap
Fantastic campaign; just finished and hit ~200 light / LV20.
Cannot believe the uproar over shaders lol...
From what I've heard, I'd expect some changes to it, but they'll likely stay as a consumable.
Not really mad, they basically fixed almost everything that was wrong with d1, and as an mmo player I guess I'm used to cosmetics/dyes being something that helps drives the economy as a consumable.
I honestly have no issue with shaders atm, over time you will collect a lot of them, and its not like I constantly changed shaders in D1 for it to be an issue.
I understand if people are upset, but not to the level of what I am reading etc.
It's cosmetic; fine with it being driven by Eververse. As long as EV remains cosmetic, I'll never complain. I do wish you could just purchase shaders once w/ unlimited uses for a higher fee, but not the end of the world.
But the thing is though you get shaders out the ass from just playing. Its a knee jerk reaction imo.
And how the hell do I get the Rockstar can rewards in game? I have entered four codes on the website with my account linked; they were all accepted. The next step is to supposedly go to "Redeem Codes" on your Bungie account profile which I did, but there is nothing new there since like 2015 in the history, and the Redeem a Code page asks for a 9 digit code I don't have.
Or are the rewards just blue gear? I've gotten some from the postmaster, but thought they were just missed engrams from activities.
L237 and still only 1 exotic drop that was a crappy body piece. I did, however, get Vigilance Wing from the end game engram. It's damn near unbeatable @ range. Being PvP primary person, it definitely made my day.

I kinda see what you mean, but I disagree. We have quantifiable evidence this system was changed entirely to support micro transactions for it
The economy in MMOs is usually driven by player to player sales with funny money, in this scenario these are not tradeable items and the only people benefiting with real cash is Activision.
I'm not one of those folks who hated the Eververse in D1 and in general I'm okay with Microtransactions... so It's not going to ruin the experience for me like others may say, but it sure is disappointing. I'd of been fine RNGing for shaders but the problem is the function of shaders were completely changed to get them more cash.
So for me it's more the butchering of Shaders into something that easier to sell to people with gambling problems than it is microtransactions existing.
Shaders are now a shitty chore that I'm sure is painful to grind cause they got them for sale and they wouldn't be for sale if they weren't built around sales being the better option. I haven't seen a single shader drop yet but it could be my level. This is all on top of the fact that now if I upgrade my armor I have to farm the proper shader again, or horde shaders until I'm certain this is my armor set and so on.
New system sucks donkey dick and at the risk of talking in circles it being needlessly shitty for the sake of double dipping is where all my angst boils to.
You are not wrong that it's a system dedicated to providing more opportunities for sweet sweet microtransactions, but you will likely find yourself getting flooded with excess shaders over time. The butthurt right is real (and frankly justified), but it will likely iron itself out.
Also something something blame Activision (who pushed for more microtransactions) not Bungie.
Lemme put it this way, I was told that tying shaders to real money will likely be worthless because you'll end up with so many of them thru naturally playing the game.
I'll be on in about 30-40 to do stuff in anyone is interested
This thread is pretty hot, I know its fresh but I'm wondering if we'll need a separate thread for PC release and for communication.
Also, I hate you all and wish it was out for me #masterraceproblems
