I'm no superhero but I've got my role down pat. I go right side in the shadow realm, do some great damage with celestial on, etc. the raid always ends up wiping to someone either not getting off pillar fast enough, or getting hit with a void grenade in shadow realm. I've got to have atleast 150 attempts in at this point, but I'm stubborn and I just can't quit

For plates I make sure I watch his right hand very closely and YELL OFF/OUT multiple times as soon as I see it start to move (for 3rd phase the second I start to see fire I do the same)

So, what I would recommend for shadow realm hell. Is make sure all 3 people are assigned to psions before killing floaters. When they start to have cover aswell, left and right swap psions and just make sure they're dead as soon as possible.

For deaths at pillars. Just make sure you have someone properly calling out to move. People are idiots and can't be left to think for themselves at those damage points in raids.

You also need superb communication when inside aswell.

It's dumb that this is the case, but you really need to emphasize to people to get off the plates as soon as he raises his arm. The minuscule amount of damage that you're going to do by getting off one more round will not outweigh the damage that will be lost if you die and someone needs to stay behind and raise you. Calus telegraphs that attack so I really don't get how people miss it.

Found an annoying glitch about that attack though last night -- I don't know what caused it, but it must be somehow related to the triggers and pushing Calus to second form during the first damage phase and then to third form during the first plate of the second damage phase. For some reason, he would do his third form attack, immediately followed by the second form attack. Ended up having to three cycle him because we essentially missed two plates.

As far as the shadow realm, who is killing which scion? I believe it is easiest if the person on the left kills the right psion and the right person kills the left one.

People get greedy and when it's damage phase, stop paying attention and just focus on shooting. That's how and why people die to calus attacks. It's why you need to have someone yell, like Kas said.

The ground psions absolutely have to be killed on spawn; they will use their gravity orb incredibly quickly sometimes and it's almost always a death. We assign left, mid, right and each player kills their own instantly, then bubble psions. For the third and fourth stops, we have left and right cross to shoot each other's psions since the ramps can block POV to your regular one. If you can kill the ground psions, the rest is pretty easy.

we've been doing the same. I sit on right side and immediately after calling symbol, I nuke the left side floor psion and help kill the middle before taking the floating psion out. As awful as it sounds, people in my groups are just shit slow at taking the psions out and I have to work double duty to take out more since they either miss them, or aren't putting out enough damage

If the people inside with you are shit. Rotate them to outside or replace them. I mean, if you can't have people kill a psion, how do you expect to kill calus?

Hey Mouse, sorry I didn't see your message last night. I'm game to be in whatever clan, but both of my RL friends are in BG prime now, so I figure I'll stay there for the time being unless we continue having member problems once the game starts to age a bit. I'm guessing these issues will all resolve soon.

Anyway, my Hunter is still a little low (252 or so) but hopefully I can raid with you guys soon. I've done everything but Calus on Xbox (my Warlock there is PL301), and to be honest, I'm not really sure I want to even attempt to do it with randoms. I don't mind bashing my head against it with BG people though of course.
