Then waiting for the engram to show you the sample queue is pointless and that video is misleading garbage.

Is that what that video was about? I didn't even watch it. I had read and heard discussion about the exotics before and that the previews didn't show everything. I don't believe the legendary engram previews show everything either.

i'm sure I'm not the first one to figure this out, but on the Inverted Spire boss fight you can cheese it. in the first phase you can jump off the left ledge to the circular indent in the wall, and stay there, if you jumped properly, then just scout/snipe him to death below you. additionally doing a titan smash from up there all the way to the bottom is pretty fun

Destiny 2 will get updates that tune the sandbox experience.

Their point that there are weapons that outperform MIDA is correct though. Yes, everyone is using MIDA, but stat-wise, it is not the best scout rifle (ignoring those high caliber rounds..).

I think they are also talking about not playing the MIDA user's game, maybe forcing closer quarter encounters

Map design works directly against that strategy.

It may not be the fastest TTK in the game but the combination of ridiculous aim assist and HCR make it obnoxious to fight against, which is identical to how it was in D1 before they took HCR off of it. Why they unnerfed MIDA and HCR in general is mind-boggling. I personally don't really care about MIDA but they should have seen this coming a mile away and their response to it is utterly asinine. "We're listening, but we also don't think your feedback is valid so really we're not listening at all."

I'll say it.

Fuck balancing guns entirely around PVP.

If anything they need to separately balance that shit but I'm tired of weapons being neutered for pve cause PVP complained. If anything as you said, map design needs to encourage more weapons types than It does right now, so many exclude short range outside of small small areas

Anyway forgive my bluntness :/,I just got way too much of that in D1, whole weapon types were crap for periods at a time. Shotguns got plowed into obscurity for a while. Auto rifles got hurt HARD.
