His BSB2 I presume? (the robe) Command 2 gives him a Regen effect and his LM2 allows his to recover HP when using dark attacks so it's not too bad.

FFXI gave me Aphmau's USB which seems meh, but I have her LMR and BSB. If I snag Ayane's BSB from the free relic pick, I'll have a somewhat functional XI crew.

Aphmau's USB is a speed run enabler. An Instant Cast Curaga + Party Instant Cast can make a team go vroom vroom. It's pretty much the grand prize for XI.
