That's occasionally relevant too - knights in robes occasionally give me trouble for hitting guardbringer tiers.

I got a dupe selphie usb, king ssb, dupe tidus burst 1, maria lmr (aka earth armor), garnet ssb (lightning armor under synergy), prompto burst and marach lmr (lightning resist), and gladiolus lmr (cover, aka +10 atk on glad). I got exactly what I paid for.

galuf USB might be OK in CM type situations but i've yet to find a reason to use it in any normal high-end content. being a native earth+ weapon seemed like a nice consolation but the use case is for an earth hammer is insanely narrow (it's basically just galuf and cinque, and her USB hammer is also native earth+).

Hammers are narrow use, but the upside is that everyone who can use them tends to either be earth themed or have earth access. Probably the only notable exception is Bartz, who does get axe access.
