It isn't that terrible, you just got the only source of Imperil Ice in this game. Japan still has only 3 and two of them are Ultras :/

Yeah, there's a lot of ssbs that have strong niche appeal or are useful for CMs, but their strengths aren't immediately obvious. Not quite like getting a sexy burst or ultra though.

I got doodoo'd on so hard I can't even remember what I got. I think 2 SSB... a Tifa one (crystal/diamond gloves??) and a weird bamboo looking sword Staff for someone I've never heard of.

that sounds like either rafa or malak's burst from the recent FFT event. not sure how the latter is, but rafa's is a really good mage BSB, party mag/res buff and C1 is damage + single target heal.
