Did some tweaking, so I'm killing liquid flame, though not happy with the kill times. All of Tidus' water abilities are sharpshooter. I'm almost tempted to see if my crappy ranged attack weapons will out dps the sword he's using in that sense since they get an attack bonus with ranged.

Depends. If the sword has +water damage, then it will be slightly ahead of a range weapon at least for Sapphire Shot. Even if we're talking about BSB2, napkin math has the +element weapon ahead.

his sword didn't. I do have is OSB which has a light water up, which I gave to Butz for his engulfing quadstrike spam. The throw weapon despite being about 50ish atk lower then a standard higher attack sword was a wash on that end.
