Deflecting when asked about his claims about wiretapping. He does make a convincing arguement though, the best.

Trump wants to break up Wall Street banks

Duterte not 100% on accepting Trump's invite. Wants to focus on trips to Russia & Israel.
FDIC has been shopping a 21st century glass-steagall. Would be wild if Trump came out in support as its a non-starter for every republican MoC I know

Federal gas tax increase will pay for the wall highways.
Maybe I am crazy but I am not really opposed to gas tax increases to fund transportation infrastructure projects. I certainly prefer it over the main alternatives (per-mile taxes or tolls which inevitably would involve large scale data collection).
On the other hand, low gas prices have probably kept us from sliding back into recession, so raising prices could have a broader negative impact on the economy.
gas tax is probably the closest thing we're going to get to a carbon tax
The only thing DT can get behind since it predominantly affects poor people.
You kind of need both for climate policy, because while carbon taxes crush coal and hurt natural gas for electricity, they have only a small effect on gasoline and diesel fuel prices, not enough to really push wholesale changes in modes of transportation.

We’d have thought it already was pretty well understood that a man who pretended to be a different person in order to promote himself, bragged about grabbing women’s genitalia, and threatened to throw his political opponent in jail is like NO OTHER PRESIDENT BEFORE, but it’s nice of the crack journalists at Conservative Post to nail it down.

Trump continues to act upon his vendetta against the Obama administration. This time targeting Michelle's efforts on improving school lunch quality, and the Let Girls Learn program.
He said relaxing the rules was part of the administration’s effort to “make school meals great again.”
I swear to Christ I'd punch him in the face if I had the chance.
Trump called for a "good government shutdown" in September.
Yesterday the White House indicated it actually had no plans to change let girls learn, so now both possibilities are represented and we will just have to see what happens.
What's the deal with everyone hating on the lunch program? I see a ton of people on facebook posting about how much her program sucks, but it also seems like the people who post this let their kids eat garbage.
I don't really know much about the topic though. Anyone know more that can enlighten me?
So basically because people don't know how to cook they are angry at Michelle?
As a former chef I will say though that is probably the biggest thing about cooking. Anyone can cook chicken strips, but it's way harder to make veggies and such good (but still not that hard). But gah when you do it's amazing.
http://www.mprnews.org/story/2017/05...ix-senate-messKicking off the day, the president tweeted Tuesday from his Twitter account, "The reason for the plan negotiated between the Republicans and Democrats is that we need 60 votes in the Senate which are not there!" He added that we "either elect more Republican Senators in 2018 or change the rules now to 51 (percent). Our country needs a good "shutdown" in September to fix mess!"
...
Any future shutdowns would likely cost the federal government billions of dollars. The 16-day partial government shutdown in 2013 cost $24 billion, according to Moody's and Standard and Poor's. That included lost revenue for the national parks.
Trump wants to change the first amendment because it's invading his safe space.
