It appears this guy is a master troll? Based on the reddit thread/twitch chat. So something glaringly obvious I missed but I think they didn't like the fact he said "doctors without brothers" while talking about his story.

yeah, like almost everything i've wanted to watch has been in the overnight midnight-8am EST stretch. tons of headliners with baffling schedules this year. would've loved to watch the FF7 run live, but for some unfathomable reason it was banished to the slot when all of america is asleep, lol.

yeah, like almost everything i've wanted to watch has been in the overnight midnight-8am EST stretch. tons of headliners with baffling schedules this year. would've loved to watch the FF7 run live, but for some unfathomable reason it was banished to the slot when all of america is asleep, lol.

I feel like it most likely was put there because of how long it was. 8 hours for one game is a long time during the day, when they could schedule tetris in the same time frame and fit in twice as many games.

Thank god for people on Youtube putting unofficial uploads of the runs the min they happen at GDQ (I know I could just go through Twitch VODs but don't have time to have to individually find a certain run within 10 hrs of footage), otherwise I wouldn't be able to watch any of this GDQ till they put up the official uploads.

There was a VoD thread on /r/speedrun with the Twitch VoD links, but that thread got nuked since lol youtube ad revenue. Not sure when the official stuff is going to be posted.
