Season 1 was a world builder, season 2 will bring more focus to the story. Also, there is a seven season plan for the series.

Hissrich also hints at The Witcher season 2 moving away from the approach which led to the main characters of Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer being separated for much of the series so far: “Characters start meeting and interacting more. That goes well sometimes. It doesn’t go well sometimes. But it’s kind of like, all of those building blocks that we set up for the world, finally start to come together into something a little more concrete.”

“There are definitely things that we know we want to do. In our brains, as writers, we say, ‘Oh, that could happen at the end of season three’ or ‘That will happen in season seven.’ The truth is, we have a tonne of source material. We could write the show for a very, very long time.”

To be fair, they really don't do Yen justice. If they had, there's no contest between them.

to be opposite fair they blew the Triss casting. looks aside that actress struggled with the limited role she had, needs to get up in a hurry for the heftier stuff she needs to carry later on.

Its definently better but I still dont like it when game's just exposit at you at the end. Wish there was a way everything Letho just tells you at the end could have been more organically revealed over the course of the story.

And from everything revealed so far Yennifer sounds like the worst.

2 blew my mind. I ended up taking days off work to finish it. I knew Witcher 1 had gotten great reviews but the KB Mouse controls were killer so I didn’t put a ton of time into it. God I loved 2. And then 3... sheesh, maybe my fav game? Idk

I remember being so annoyed when CDPR announced cyber punk instead of another Witcher
