On another note, this is the best fighting game to release in a very long time. I haven't had this much interest in training mode since SF4/MVC2. I think what i love the most is you get very much rewarded for maximizing combos, where other games it is so minimum that people just leave it for combo videos. Sneaking in an extra light or two, for example, adds up a lot over time in this game.

Yeah I've just been pouring hours into training mode, don't even have a team yet, but I'm having a blast just playing around with everyone.

So far I'm think I gonna run with 21/A.Gohan/Goku for a bit and see how that goes.

I haven’t even unlocked 21 and I preordered. How do I unlock her? Lol. And I have no idea who my team will be. I was hoping to avoid the typical Goku Vegeta bandwagon but SSJ1 goku feels the most natural to me so far and Vegitas assist is OP.

I wanted to run hit but all the tech people are posting of him looks like hot garbage. I'm pretty locked in to Kid Buu, but I'm yet to be impressed by what people are posting of other characters. Only other that I'm seriously considering is Frieza.. I'll probably end up playing black/frieza/kidbuu

Kid Buu is probably early tier top 3/4. Android 18 is also ridiculous. Cell too. Those 3 are probably among the top 5 out the gate.

I know I'm probably the only one who cares, but does anyone know how to get the language settings to save between sessions? Every time I boot up the game it defaults back to the Japanese language option and I want it in English.

Beat story mode, i have yet to do that, and i'm seeing some sick shit with Android 21. I'm also liking the following team, 18 / Black / Super Vegeta. 18 can double assist with 17 and use black or vegeta to get in, it's so damn good.

When I launched the game for the first time, I ran around the hub trying to find training mode, bought a z-capsule or whatever it's called, which contained an avatar of android 21 for the hub world. Found training mode afterwards and 21 was already unlocked. Maybe a bug or just really lucky lol.

If you have the figherZ pass 21 is unlocked by default. If you are on PS4 you might have to go into the store to unlock her but she will be free.

That would be it than, I thought that just unlocked blue goku and vegeta.

Pre order is blues, but the collector's edition or season pass unlocks 21. I did the story mode and it takes for fucking ever. 8 hours and that's skipping all cutscenes.

I'm playing Beerus/Frieza/Black. This team definitely got some shit. A18 or kid Buu is probably the best in the game ATM. But honestly they don't feel over powered yet or anything like that. Only character I could see being a real problem in that aspect is 21 cause her stolen moves are busted lol. This game just feels right... Nothing feels too cheap and the better I get the more fun it is to play. Glad it's living up to the hype.

One thing I cannot fucking stand: when I try to poke into Dragon Rush. The window for auto combo is so high that it registers as another auto combo string.

You can avoid getting an auto combo by holding back I believe.

I don't remember the circumstances, but he has a 100% kill combo.
