Fwiw Plunderblade can't snag any "named" gems. Bird Wyvern and Wyvern Gems are the highest level of loot it can acquire from what I've seen/heard

That isn't too bad though. Bird Wyvern and Wyvern gems are pretty rare from what I have seen and used quite a bit in various gears/weapons. I wonder why plunderblade can't grab named gems. Their carve/drop rate is about the same as the unnamed gems so it isn't like they are more rare from what I have heard.

Wyvern gems are decently rare and used in just about everything, I have about 30 Bird Wyvern gems and rarely use them outside some weapons and unlocking armour levels.

And just a reminder when farming gems that investigations (silver/gold boxes) are the way to go. I wouldn't rely on any other method unless you like being pleasantly surprised once in a blue moon.

Finally figured out a strategy to beat Baglegoose. Did an investigation twice with one copper and two silver rewards on my second kill got double gems in the silver rewards. He is an intense fight for me right now but fun.

Bazel is either a push over or really annoying depending on the weapon. Ranged tends to mow him down free though.

Giant size bagel has some really massive hitboxes, especially with his wingspan when face-mowing.

Ya, B-52 is pretty much my biatch as HBG; I would not want to melee him at all.

Beetlejuice and Kirin are my least favourite mobs with DB.
Double tempered Beetlejuice was probably the only story mission that took me more than 2 attempts.

I was doing Effluvial Opera today while varying weapons, an a silver crown one spawned in the run I used lance. It is NOT a fun monster to lance, ugh.

Certain weapon types you literally only need one to cover all your needs (HH, LS, CB, GL, and soon to be GS with the event one), I ain't about that life for making worthless weapons.

Armor sure, but what reason would I have to ever use something other then Divine Slasher, Diablos Tyrannus II, Royal Burst, or Deep Vero when I'm rolling with those weapon types.

(Yes I know there's limited focus Hunting Horns, like Teo if you're fighting Vaal, but I'm not gonna HH on Vaal so meh)

You have to accessorize so that the flashes when you hit to match your stylish armor obviously.

Fashion Hunter options are kinda shit in this game tho.

Especially in the waist department there's like, only 3 or so valid options (Nergi, Damascus, Bazel make up like 95% of builds, Guild Cross if fashion Hunter is really calling you)

Considering Divine Slasher is part of its own tree and not part of the main trees you kinda have to craft a lot of different swords on the way until you can get divine slasher. Mostly I enjoy using different weapons to match the weakness of the monster I am fighting. I like having a high level thunder, ice, blast, water, etc. weapon at my disposal.
