If you had augment only one bow, I'd probably go with Kadachi, followed by Diablos.
A large amount of Endgame stuff is weak to Lightning, and the Kadachi bow already has dope stats to begin with.
Diablos is just that pure raw goodness and works on everything. Especially good for multi monster hunts where elemental weaknesses of the mobs may not line up.
That said, augmenting a bow isn't super important imo. The only truly valuable augment is Healing, and it's practically worthless on a bow. I'd rather spend the streamstones on IGs, and only augment Bows if you have an excess of them.
So question about areans. Do I need to capture the high rank variant of a best to unlock the HR variant or will a low rank work too? If not is there a way of knowing which High Ranks I've caught? I know my journal says what I've caught but it doesn't mention rank.
i think if you capture a high rank one it'll count towards both but I honestly forget.
i'm positive capturing a low rank doesn't activate high rank though
That's what I was afraid of. Dang.
Capcom Fiscal Results: PC Version Far Exceeding Expectationshttp://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/n...l/e180918.htmlRegarding Capcom's full-year business forecast, due to factors including the continued robust performance of the PC version of Monster Hunter: World exceeding the company's expectations since its release on the Steam platform in August, following the blockbuster performance of the title after its initial release in January of this year, the forecast for Capcom's consolidated business results remains the same as what was projected at the financial results announcement on May 8, 2018.
Why are financial results staying they same? Because they canceled Dead Rising 5 with a loss of $40m~ to refocus resources to the Monster Hunter series.
Now if only they could optimize the PC version
I get random stuttering even with low settings.
What setup/settings are you running?
I have had nothing but easy street, performance-wise, since installing.
GPU is a GeForce GTX 1070 with the latest drivers and 16GB of RAM
For settings anything I should look out for that's a glutton on resources? I'll double check that when I'm home.
Turn off foliage sway and volumetric if you're having issues. Everything else is minimal.
I think I killed shadows but I always do that. I can check when I get home later. I'm running a 6GB 1060 and the same amount of RAM.
Using a 1070 at 1440p, occasionally small framerate issues in Elder's Recess but mostly it's been really good. Only setting I changed was turning off volumetric.
Killing Volumetric Rendering is really all it takes to make the game run fine, and it honestly looks better with it off (except for rain looking a little weird)
I know I have Vol. Rendering off for sure
All quests done. Time to start running around in my goofy wide range SnS build.![]()
Tempered Jho fight really doesn't seem worth farming at all. I imagine PUGs probably fail it way too much and soloing it is boring as fuck with DPS windows being so small thanks to the incredibly shitty tremor mechanics this time around. TEDs drop stones at a much better rate than decent decos so you're pretty much going to end up with tons of them before you get the decos you want anyways.
I guess we were wrong about never seeing a Arch Tempered Zorah, apparently he's set to be the next AT monster after Arch Tempered Lunastra murders everyone. Hopefully the fight is more engaging and it's not just hitting rocks and loading cannons, though I expect to see AT Nergi show up to the party at some point.
And if you thought one Tempered Jho was bad, you'll hate the next Horizon Zero Dawn crossover event. It features TWO Tempered Jhos, one super small and one super big (because a bigger Jho is just what we need), and gives the layered Aloy set and adds a Gamma version of the Alot set as rewards. Personally, I have no problem with full sets for Layered armor, but I hate them as actual armor. It's better to do it the way they did the Dante set, just break it into pieces so we can mix and match the parts while still being our own character.
No news on any actually new monsters for the Consoles though, it's assumed they're waiting for the PC to finally catch up, which should be around winter.
