It just has to have something to keep people playing. It better have an endgame, or it will be dead 30 days after launch.

There will be 3 strongholds at launch. Hasn't been revealed how they'll support the game post launch.
From everything I've watched so far, this game looks like Warframe cross Division with the look of Destiny. It's intriguing.

One of the issues blocking players is that if they pre-ordered a certain teir, the bonuses would cause a player to be locked out. Another was the game was ddos-ing some ISP's. EA will give everyone who attempted to play the VIP demo a bonus skin at launch.
Really looking forward to it after watching some of the gameplay, i just won't pre-order or buy a game after at least a week after release anymore. Double if EA is attached to it. I do hope to play the open demo (Which is the way it should be for games, i miss demos) next weekend and see how i enjoy it.
Thanks to those posting here so i know what to expect.
To me the game play looks like Mass Effect + Destiny
That’s a pretty good way of putting it. The fire fights are excellent with flight etc. The gear / customization seems to be there, at least from a small demo. The game will be fantastic if there is a reason to play it long term.
I’m really hoping the difficulty levels aren’t just more monsters, higher health, higher damage. That will ruin it fast. All that means is a longer amount of time spent hiding behind a rock and poking out / waiting on power moves to reload.
For those in the demo, did anyone else just get told they can unlock the other javelins now? Not sure if bugged or legit
I was able to unlock 1 (choice of 2) before I stopped playing.
oh. nah, they just released them all for everyone. anthem twitter page yall
Fairly certain it is simply going to be an increase in mob volume/health/damage. Feels very similar to The Division. Higher difficulties will require better teamwork to combo damage, team focus specific mobs to death before they re-shield, etc. That’s how pretty much every game does harder modes anyways (Destiny, Diablo, Division).
Yea pretty standard arpg-ish difficulty system. More health, more damage, more loot.
Division and Destiny were straight trash, so that sucks. I don't think there has ever been a videogame that over-promised and under-shipped on Destiny's level.
Seriously? They literally said they had "decade long" plans for that game, and like 2 years later were on #2.
