EDIT: Wrong thread!
I like the game, when it works. Solidified that I will buy it, just not day one. I had a few loading screens just take me to the start screen rather than the missions. Javelin switching really bogged down my PS4 and then just infinite load. Free play was okay. I kept having full groups of mobs disappear. I do like the Ranger and Interceptor.
This demo has felt more stable for me compared to last week's (on PC), but not by a whole lot. Gonna end up trying the last 2 javelins then wait til the 15th.
Read today there won’t be raids at launch. Not great Al
Raids are not the end all for challenging and rewarding group content. As long as there is enough to do I'm good.
It having a difficulty setting is nice, its really why I think Diablo 3 has such replay-ability (among other reasons), farming to tackle higher difficulties with higher reward chances.
Side note, I know theres little reason but I always wished Destiny 2 had a kind of "LASO" mode for the storyline.
Top Grandmaster tier is +3100% Health/damage added to enemies and +250% loot drop. That's my end game. I really don't care about raids, personally.
Don't think it was mentioned yet. A dev post on Reddit says they've changed up some of the keybinds (i.e. using Q and E for menus), made more things directly clickable in menus, and adjusted the mouse input issues while flying.
Anyone else having issues getting out of Fort Tarsis and into the real game? For the last hour, every time I try to jump into Freeplay I've been getting kicked back to the Fort.
Edit: Aaaaand, next time I try I get through.
I have had one total crash, one infinite load, and multiple lvl0 freeplay sessions, but I've gotten all of the exp & loot I farmed. I like that I don't lost total progress when things go awry.
Go the Storm lancer last night. Fire attacks seems to be OP, not getting much out of ice & lightning, though.
Tried the PS4 demo today and legit got nauseous. Without that inverted X axis, this is unplayable for me, and from what I was able to do, it would have been a really fun experience otherwise. Doesn't seem to be a lot on this that I could find, so it's a hard pass if that doesn't get implemented.
I've been playing all weekend on PC version. 0 connection issues, or crashes for me. Also the mouse flight change implementations are a huge boost over what it was on alpha test. I was seriously considering an controller for this game based off that but now keyboard/mouse works perfectly for me!
I'm fine with the current controls for flying on PS4, but I wish the process was consistent. I also find spacial awareness to be an issue. I've run into so many things trying to evade enemy fire or just turning around from out-of-bounds areas.
