I've always wondered if those that are heavy social media and/or forum posters do get revenue somehow. There is a person on slickdeals.net and tomshardware.com and possibly more that has like, 100k+ posts.
I've been playing the EA early access 10 hour trial and will say its leaps and bounds better then the demo/beta for sure.
Almost lvl 15 with 151 gear level and less then 2 hours left on trial. Story is entertaining so far, with side quests/contracts for exp.
I'm enjoying it personally.
My 2 cents for what it's worth.
It is quite fun, while the quests last. The problem is there is almost nothing to do, once it ends (and it ends fast). Have to wait and see if their promises (coming soon?) come to fruition.
Jeff from giant bomb went off on this game during their last podcast because of their "day 1 patch" even though people who spent more money have been playing for a week already to basically beta their game. Quite shocking how bad the press around this game has been since the early release. Glad people arent hand waving how terrible some of these design choices are.

I think eurogamer review had my favorite line
“What would you get if BioWare made a new Mass Effect game without story or character development? You’d get Anthem.”
Well, the criticism is completely fair here. The game clearly needs another year+ worth of development content compared to what it has at launch. That is completely outside of the bugs/QOL requests.
Unless those patch notes include: "added a middle game, end game, skill tree, gear drops, sound queues, and maps without the exact same terrain", then they can fuck off. The notes are are a bunch of RIDICULOUS bug fixes and painfully obvious QOL improvements that should have been in since the damned prototype version.
Funniest shit I saw today was that Twitch replay of a level 3 player being thrown into the final mission, final boss via "Quick Play". How was this overlooked or not addressed...like years ago!? lol completely unreal...how difficult is it to add a clause "where mission complete = 1".
Bioware can get bent.
For anyone that doesn't want to watch that 45 minute video, start at time marker: 36:00
That is the first video I've watched of his, but that might have been the best review video I've ever watched, for a videogame. I've been scouring his channel since lol.
