Breh, they've been churning out new, full entries every 1-2 years since Gen I.
The wait from R/B/Y to G/S may have seemed like an eternity when we were kids because the first games were such phenoms, but Game Freak's release frequency has been fuckin stellar. Maybe Square's bad habits are making you think that?

Nope. It's just inspired by Yellow and set in Kanto. Will be a "totally new game". It seems like a super casual take on Pokemon overall so I expect little considering Pokemon is already extremely casual.

Gen 1-4 came out when I was in elementary, middle, high school and college respectively so thats prob got a lot to do with it. I just remeber the gap between 5 and 6 being shorter and the gap between 6 and 7 being shorter then that.

Absolutely none of these Pokemon announcements sound like things I'd be interested in. Hopefully we get something at E3 about the real Pokemon game or I'll just be waiting for a Pokemon direct later in the year I guess.

Pokemon quest is okay. Kinda like if mystery dungeon and rumble were mixed and watered down. Doubt I'll put too much time into it but it's a decent game to blow stamina on and then turn it off. I donno about the let's go pikaeevee games yet. At least it'd be a use for all the pokemon I have from Go, but I donno if I'd wanna pay 60 bucks for it, assuming it's not somehow less than that. Think I'll just wait for gen 8 next year like most.

I have no interest in this Pokémon game it seems like they are trying to throw nostalgia by going back to kanto on a Pokémon Go model that is the most boring thing. Nintendo bombed my hype level back to ground zero
