dude, lmao
did you just rebut the point I was trying to illustrate (age old correlation =/= causation) withyeah well, there's a pretty neat correlation with violence and skin color and I know you don't fall for that so easilyYeah no shit, that's why I said
There's a pretty clear correlation between gun deaths and gun restrictions.
your dinky little chart has more degrees of separation between the data it took and the conclusion you reached than race-realists do with their charts, even
I should remind you that we've both been banned for being on the side of gun control here. And I'm pretty sure my ideas are more extreme than yours on the matter"I don't care about the vast vast vast majority of people killed by guns, I want to limit this argument to very specific sporadic limited data points to grind this gun control discussion into dust"
And remember when you started plugging that chart to me. You quoted me saying the govt. needs to seize 300m+ guns to have the effect we want.. and "have you seen the chart though" is extremely meh, to me, and was hoping I wouldn't need to go any further than that
Did paddock die or was he arrested?
suicide
oh no, I believe that
the flux of guns coming into the market is minuscule with the amount already out there in mainland USA
it would make, relatively, a 0 amount of difference (if I'm assuming correctly about the 'difficulty' of getting a gun as a criminal atm and how much more difficult it would be even with the strictest of restrictions®ulation) in your standard gun violence, armed robbery, etc etc
maybe it'll have an effect on mass shooters. It's really hard for me to be sure because there are so few of them relative to other data points and each one is their own breed of crazy, making it difficult to predict. But... even then, I think the 350 million+ guns out and about in the USA now will prove itself stubborn to what you personally would expect to happen. And every year that we produce several million more guns your ideas of restrictions become less and less valuable (by a small amount, but still - something to consider if a soft-handed approach will meet X restrictions/regulations in 20 years or something, especially considering that once this stuff is on the table gun production/sales will sky rocket )
I've been waiting a month to get the permit for the handgun I've already paid for but can't pick up and my paperwork was on top of the pile since I'm a township employee. NJ sucks. I had to pay $20 twice for two background checks for the same gun.
pls dont kill urself
Shooter bought one of the weapons from a store in Mesquite called Guns & Guitars...
"It might not work so don't try" is truly my favorite argument.
