Former NYPD officer Thomas Webster and GOP official Philip “The Republican Messiah” Grillo have been charged by the FBI for taking part in the Capitol Riot.

Ex-New York Police Department officer Thomas Webster is accused of using a pipe to attack a Capitol Police officer, NBC New York reported Tuesday.

Webster, who as a cop had duties that included guarding the perimeter of City Hall and Gracie Mansion, the official residence of New York’s mayors, surrendered Monday at the FBI’s Hudson Valley office, according to NBC.

The other defendant, Philip Grillo, 46, was arrested Monday afternoon at the residence of his girlfriend in Queens, New York. Grillo calls himself “The Republican Messiah” on his Facebook page.

Grillo was identified by two tipsters as one of the mob that invaded the Capitol; they recognized him by a Knights of Columbus jacket he was wearing, among other things, according to a statement of facts signed by an FBI agent.

Grillo, whom the FBI confirmed was a member of a Queens Knights of Columbus council, is listed as being the GOP leader of the 24th Assembly District in Queens by that county’s Republican Party group.

The statement of facts says video footage from inside the Capitol shows Grillo climbing through a broken window at about 2:30 p.m. that day and then is seen holding a megaphone.

Other surveillance video shows Grillo in the Rotunda, and among rioters trying to enter a room that contained doors leading outside, “where more protestors were gathered.”

In YouTube footage taken just outside the Capitol, Grillo was seen among a crowd that was shouting “Fight for Trump.”

Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of officer Brian Sicknick.

The two men are Julian Elie Khater, 32, of State College, Pa., and George Pierre Tanios, 39, of Morgantown, W.Va. They were arrested Sunday and charged with "conspiring to injure officers and assaulting federal officers" and other crimes, the Justice Department says.

Tanios was arrested at his home; Khater was arrested as he was getting off an airplane at New Jersey's Newark Liberty International Airport. The two were slated to have their initial court appearances early Monday afternoon in the states where they were arrested, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Washington.

During a standoff with police at the Capitol, Khater asked Tanios to "give me that bear s***," according to the Justice Department, citing video footage from the scene.

After pulling a canister from Tanios' backpack, Khater moved to the front of the crowd, next to the police perimeter. He then raised his hand, aimed the canister at Sicknick and two other officers who were standing just a few feet away and waved his arm from side to side, the agency says.

The chemical that hit Sicknick, Edwards and Chapman temporary blinded them and took them out of commission as a mob of people tried to push past a bike rack that was being used as a barricade at the Capitol's lower west terrace, the affidavit states.

"Officer Edwards reported lasting injuries underneath her eyes, including scabbing that remained on her face for weeks," according to the court document.

Despite Khater referring to the spray as "bear s***" – implying that it was a pepper-based bear spray — the affidavit does not identify the material, referring to the canister's contents as an "unknown chemical substance."

Seth Aaron Pendley of Wichita Falls, TX has been arrested by the FBI for planning to bomb an Amazon data center in Virginia.

Court documents say Pendley came to the FBI’s attention after agents received a tip that he was posting alarming statements on a forum popular with militia groups, mymilitia.com. He began communicating through an encrypted messaging app with another person, who told the FBI that Pendley planned to use plastic explosives to attack the tech company’s data centers “to kill about 70% of the internet.”

The FBI says he told the undercover operative that he wanted to attack the data centers because he thought they served the FBI, CIA and other federal agencies.

Pendley was arrested in Fort Worth after he received what he thought was an explosive device and put it into his car. A court document said he admitted to having orchestrated the plan. A search of his home turned up hand-drawn maps related to the plan, the FBI said. Pendley did not possess any actual explosive material, the document said.
