Brendan Hunt, a Trump supporter who called for killing members of Congress days after the Jan. 6 insurrection, was found guilty Wednesday of making a death threat against elected officials.

The jury, which took about three hours to reach its verdict, found that comments Hunt made in a disturbing video posted online two days after the U.S. Capitol riot amounted to a genuine threat to murder lawmakers in Washington. He faces up to 10 years in prison.

Man Drives Truck Into Logan Boulevard Picnickers, Injuring Woman After Yelling Anti-Asian Comments In Targeted Attack

A man was arrested Saturday afternoon after he hit a woman with his truck on Logan Boulevard, in what witnesses say was a targeted attack on a group of picnickers after the man yelled anti-Asian comments.

A group of about 10-15 friends were enjoying a cookout when the driver of a red pickup truck plowed into the group, trapping one woman under the truck and scattering bicycles and clothes across the lawn.

The picnickers said the man argued with them leading up to the attack. Rob Lopez, who was part of the group, said he heard the driver say “f—— Asians” or “goddamn Asians” to his friend, who is Asian, before hopping the curb and ramming into the picnic.

You don't even need to see the photos to know who was driving the truck.
