n an interview with CBS This Morning, Haig says that police found an Amazon box with his address inside the Mandalay Bay hotel room.

"He told me exactly what he wanted," Haig said to CBS. "I handed him a box with the ammunition in it, he paid me and he left."

He said that he sold 720 rounds of tracer ammunition to Paddock and that Paddock said he was using it for a light show. The ammunition leaves a trace of light when shot. Haig said he had only spoken to Paddock three times.

"I'm still wracking my brain for what did I miss? Why didn't I pick this up?" Haig told CBS.

Haig has since shut down his business. He told The Associated Press that he plans to hold a press conference later this week.

When I was a private once upon a time, me and my battle buddies had an entire range shutdown in fort Bragg because we all decided and focused to shoot at one specific piece of wooden frame at one of the targets. 5~10 minutes later several lanes of brushes and wooden frames were ablaze and the fire department had to come out to the middle of nowhere at like 1am lol.

Person who sold the ammo to the Vegas shooter has been named. Douglas Haig of Arizona sold 720 tracer rounds to Paddock for what Paddock described as a light show he was to put on. Tracer rounds give a trace of light when fired.

Charged for Selling Unlicensed Bullets, In Addition to Tracers, He also sold Modified Armor-piercing Rounds to Paddock

Federal prosecutors have charged Douglas Haig, a man identified earlier this week as "a person of interest" in the Las Vegas mass shooting, with selling bullets he had modified to make them more potent — referred to as armor-piercing.

The 55-year-old aerospace engineer did not have a license to manufacture and sell the armor-piercing bullets he sold to Stephen Paddock.

Haig held a press conference with his attorney by his side on the same day federal authorities filed the charge. In it he explained how he first met Paddock at a Phoenix gun show and calmly recounted having three separate phone conversations.

The complaint says Haig told investigators that when Paddock bought the ammunition, he put on gloves before taking the box from Haig.

Haig defended himself as merely a vendor, saying, "I had no contribution to what Paddock did. I had no way to see into his mind. The product that I sold him had absolutely nothing to do with what he did."
