AP is reporting that Burkina Faso's police director general says the capital is beign attacked by suspected Islamic extremists after explosions and gunfire were heard in Ouagadougou.

Someone is leaving bombs in packages for people in Austin, TX. A blast on March 2nd killed one victim, and today two more occurred hours apart in the same manner--a package was dropped off at the door, when residents opened the package it exploded. In today's first blast, one was killed and another injured, while in the second blast another person was injured. Police ruled the initial death on March 2nd as "suspicious" but are now working under the assumption that all three are related and being treated as active homicide investigations.

Idk if all 3 cases were black victims, but at least two were, and the neighborhoods are def minority filled.

IIRC Austin is the most multicultural city in the US and has been majority minority for decades. It might take the bomber a while to hit a whitey if they're going about this randomly.

I mean, there's a number of ways to measure this but...

Los Angeles is at least 10% each of Black, White, Hispanic and Asian. New York City is at least 12% of each of the big 4. Austin doesn't quite get up there by those metrics (it's less than 7% Asian and only 8.1% black for example), and has more non-hispanic whites by percentage than either LA or NYC.

San Jose is at least 28% each of non-hispanic white, hispanic, and Asian - probably the highest 3-way in the country. Houston is probably the highest 3-way including black (24% black, 43% Hispanic, 26% non-hispanic white - with 6% asian to boot)

A new challenger approaches - Sacramento of all places is 34% non-hispanic white, 27% hispanic, 18% Asian and 15% black.

Ok I'm done quad-posting, Sacramento is the most diverse city in the country.

Columbus and Indianapolis are 59% non-hispanic white if you're talking large cities. Boise is 85% non-hispanic white for top-100 sized cities. If you want to go somewhere that doesn't suck, my hometown of Madison is 75% non-hispanic white, 4th out of the top 100.

If you want to get into the 90s you need to go pretty small. Helena, Montana (31k) is 93% white. Eau Claire, Wisconsin (68k) is 91%. Having a hard time finding a city of 100k or more that is over 90% non-hispanic white.
