I responded by pointing out this was not atypical of one strain of leftism, to which you responded orange man bad. he certainly is, and it's appropriate to be more concerned about the authoritarians in positions of power, but it's also a tit-for-tat non sequitur that shifts the conversation away from its starting point without addressing it in any way.
