Pull rates are ass, no bones about it. If this game didn't have the Fate name and related characters slapped on it, I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if it hadn't shut down by now. Meanwhile, can look at other games and see things like guaranteed top-tier pull tickets, the occasional bundle deal, and just more Free Stuff(tm) in general. I know I put about 100 pulls into Raikou between tickets, SQ, and $$$ and got shit to show for it. It isn't a good feeling.

Crap like the game is easy or that every servant is actually good doesn't really assuage that feeling, especially if you don't like the aesthetics of certain characters or are on a grail shortage as is because you've already used them to try and make up for your lack of 5* pulls. If it wasn't for the story and the occasional willingness to make fun of themselves/the fate-verse, I probably would've otherwise packed up. Even something like a pity counter would go a long way in making people feel better about dry spells.

Keep in mind that there's very little power creep. Other Gathas, while you may pull top tier items, units, etc more frequently, they also become outdated just as fast. I think it says something that servants that came out on launch day are still at the highest tier 3 years later (Waver, Herc, Carmilla), or others released around launch still are (Tamamo, Gil, Jack, etc).

99% of the shit I pull in FFBE is completely useless, and power creep is real. FFRK while slightly better has shifts in power creep where things are useless. Obviously there are exceptions. I've heard similar in FEH.

So while the rates are bad, at least when you do pull what you want, their sticking power is there for good.

SSR rates are 1%. You have a 70% chance of it being rate up. If it's a double SSR banner, it's 80% on banner rate. SR have 3% rate. I think SR are 50% rate up. You can view the info in the summon screen.

The average amount to pull an SSR is ~300 Quartz or so. I do wish the rates were higher though. Pulls are generally cheaper than other gacha as well from what I've seen. ~17.50 USD if you buy the biggest pack.

I really want squirtoria and illy and they are back to back so I plan to spend some money if necessary. If I get squirtoria easily I’ll likely try for NP2 just because I don’t have any NP2 units and then cry when I burn 600+ quarts and don’t pull her again.

And yeah the fact there is no to little power creep is one of the reasons I like the game. Unless your rolling for MHX or her alter your likely good

For real. I only got 2 medals from completing all of Camelot. Now have ~8, but going to just try and finish all the free quests before going back to farm medals for Lancelot. Would be nice to ascend him asap and such, but not too worried about it. Would just like 16 before anniversary, since we should be getting 3X EXP/CE during it.

Right now I need a lot of caster and archer secret gems so on those days I'm farming them. Im currently on chapter 9 of Camelot and haven't had a problem with it so far. I haven't looked up the fights aside the general info I know from what people have said.

I just got to Touta and have only had one close call fight so far, and I'd peg that more on me derping on my party formation. I think I just want to generally say if you can handle the lv80+ difficulty missions from events with little problems, these should all be doable, even though I think the lv distinction on quests can be pretty bullshit at times.

I'm at the end of the chapter, only Tristan Gawain and last boss left, I'll have a very hard time against Artoria since I have no sabers (I have astonishingly bad luck even with FP gacha, no Caesar either, he's sitting at NP1 lvl 1), I'll see how I manage that one.

I finally understand why people were saying Mordred was dumb and subsequent memes, holy shit, she's retarded D:, I kind of liked her in Apocrypha, but maybe that was because it was the only redeeming thing in that steaming pile of shit that was the anime.

I also liked King Hassan beforehand, his NP is badass, he's voiced by Nakata Jouji and he reminds me a lot of Skull Knight from Berserk, but after this chapter I'm gonna roll 100% on him when he drops, the only problem is that he comes right after Merlin...

EDIT: Chapter done, Lancer Artoria was easier than I thought it would be, stacking buffs on a Mordred support did the trick in 4 and 5 turns respectively. Surprised I didn't have to use any command spell, it's the first chapter that I didn't need to use one.

Should also be getting 3x EXP.
Da Vinci + Singuluarities banners should be around then, as well as the guaranteed SSR banner. (Cavalry banner is much better than Knights)
