She's a decent quick servant. Decent damage, NP gen, and can be used against any cavalier class. Great for mixed boss nodes. She's not amazing at launch, but gets much better after her strengthening. She has nice animations. She becomes a mega beast with Skadi, but that's mainly Skadi doing her thing.

Personality, she's pretty much a tsundere. I haven't played CCC since it was on the Vita and JP only, so I can't really say much more than that, but I do know some spoiler stuff. The only Sakuraface I like in the game too. Well, BB is cool too, I guess.

Shinjuku released tonight. I didn't think I'd like Moriarty as much as I do. He's pretty funny. Also the dialogue between (Chapter 5+)

DW not releasing Shinjuku Salter outfit is the biggest disgrace to this game.

Every single servant with a quick NP becomes a "mega beast" with Skadi really, many servants would be mid to bottom tier otherwise. I find it kind of annoying how whenever there's a quick servant involved there's this "b-but Skadi" thing going on. I feel it doesn't happen as much with Buster or Arts servants and their respective gimmicks (Merlin/Stall), as if they're only worth it because of her.

I'm not rolling for her, while that extra damage against cavalier classes is very nice, she also deals half damage to knight classes, making her essentially useless for a huge chunk of the game. The fact that she is just your run of the mill damage dealer doesn't help either, I find Kiara's toolset more interesting.

If you look at it that way, any servant you use is useless unless they're strong against a class, exception being supports and Jalter. You're not really going to bring a saber to a rider or any other class really. You're only going to bring them against lancers. Same for other classes. Alter Egos are good because of being strong against 5 classes (Caster, Assassin, Rider, Berserker, Foreigner). Their only weakness is doing 50% extra damage, compared to 100% extra damage. But again, mixed nodes are where they shine (Okita Alter for example is amazing for farming because of this).

As for Skadi, like I said, she's decent without Skadi. She has good skills, good stargen, and is a crit servant. She pairs extremely well with Merlin too.

Shinjuku's been out for over 2 years now on JP. Jalter got her outfit during the Da Vinci re-run. Unless a new event features Salter, I don't expect her to ever get one, and she's not really a main character in any events.

EDIT: They also censored Emiya Alter in NA. While I may think he looks better censored, I'd prefer he not be censored. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and sets a precedent moving forward:

I might be wrong but don't Alter-Egos deal half damage against Knight classes? That's why I said they're virtually useless against them, that's a big weakness to consider too. As for not bringing Sabers to a Rider node and the like, I do that all the time because I don't have ST and AoE servants for every class, I bring Latroria and Drake to many nodes to clear waves even if they don't have class advantage because they can still deal decent damage and have good NP regen/NP Charge skill.

I still don't see what's offensive about him. Is it because he's black? Is it because they made him black AND evil? He's your typical stereotype of a gang member and it's not like he's the only one, shouldn't the japanese thugs with the lead pipes be equally offensive?

Nevertheless his design is garbage IMO.

I think he looks terrible in both versions. And they don't censor stuff for lewd reasons it seems, only because of the potential backlash they may get over his racial design.

Also, this arc is much shorter than I was anticipating. It definitely isn't full length Singularity story worthy

They get resisted by knights, yes, but for me it's not really a big deal. Especially moving forward, where JP tends to put the cavalry classes into the same node (similar to how our Valentines was). Or it's all cavalry type classes, then maybe one off class boss where your second farmer can take care of them. For farming, they're honestly great. My Okita-Alter is about to hit bond 10 this week, which makes me sad. She's not the greatest for boss slaying (still does decent due to cards, buster/quick+30%, good NP gen and star gen though), but overall, they're great since they're useful on 4/7 of the main classes.

Another thing of note, is that they're extremely good against assassins. Casters aren't generally that great at DPS (even including Sanzang and Nero. They still get that -10% ATK debuff due to class), which makes either a Berserker (have fun pulling stars without an absorb) or Alter Egos best (saber level star weight).

I used my own Melt a lot during the event for all the bosses that weren't knights (used on some, since they had a debuff that made Alter Egos strong against them), and her damage is pretty nice. Really good NP gen. Star Gen is really good. If you happen to NPQQ (without a quick buff), she'll make ~45-64 stars depending on crits, and fill over half her NP back up. Her last skill will be pretty shitty at launch, but when she gets that strengthen, it'll be sick. I think I'm going to grail her to 100 on NA/JP. JP I'm just completely out of EXP. Need a lotto event

Spent 5 tickets, got nothing, at least I tried. I'm so bummed this event is so bad, the story is super short, way shorter than any other event I've done, I think i finished it by the second day and I'm sure you could do it all in a single sitting the first day if you wanted, the story itself was kinda shit too, I expected way better. Also, the currency drops are abysmal with no CEs, I'm gonna have to burn quite a few apples to clear the shop.

Yeah this event is the worst in a while. They barely buffed the dropped rates for the re-run and gating the final nodes for farming like for Xmas is terrible.

That is also pretty good evidence they aren't going to let the game die with the end of the 2nd Arc even if they need a new team of writers

I've been trying to decide between rolling for Kiara or Raikou, from a gameplay perspective, who's the better farmer? I know Raikou is more flexible due to being a berserker, but she's also made of paper and doesn't have a NP charge skill. I can't decide :<

Raikou is better for both bosses and farming. Kiara's main gripe with farming is that her damage is low (no interlude or strengthen). She needs high NP levels to shine as a farmer. She's more of a support for challenge quests.
