at this point, i personally do not want trump impeached for the exact same reason republicans should want him gone. he does not know what he is doing and really isnt getting anything done, yes the tax "reform", but all things said, thats about it, pence actually has the know how to get things done in washington and would be a much better puppet than trump for that reason

You're pretty wrong, there would have to be separate proceedings for Pence.

Regardless, Republicans would never engage in impeachment if it meant Democrats took control of the presidency.

Trump's unique unpopularity will hopefully drive Democrat majorities in the House and Senate in 2018, and if he runs for re-election hopefully a wipeout in 2020.

That's the best we can hope for.
