I am still beyond perplexed as to why Weinstein of all people is suddenly thrown to the wolves at the behest of Marilyn Manson's ex gf who hasn't been relevant since the 90's despite his abuses being common knowledge since the early 80's. This shit is absolutely endemic of hollywood and modelling and everyone knows it and no on cares and most of the people coming out against this man have and still defend others who have and continue to do the exact same. I genuinely hope this turns into a reformation of hollywood but I doubt a single thing will change. You can't even get hollywood to call out a guy like terry richardson who has photographic evidence of his abuses in tandem with 100's upon 100's of claims of sexual abuses done by him to young girls who weren't even always of age.

I am still beyond perplexed as to why Weinstein of all people is suddenly thrown to the wolves at the behest of Marilyn Manson's ex gf who hasn't been relevant since the 90's despite his abuses being common knowledge since the early 80's. This shit is absolutely endemic of hollywood and modelling and everyone knows it and no on cares and most of the people coming out against this man have and still defend others who have and continue to do the exact same. I agree this shit is pretty widespread in Hollywood. I’ve mentioned this before but I worked with a low rate actor who performed in various tv shows including a few episodes of the Dave Chappelle show. Despite him being a creepy 60 year old, he found ways to ask every girl one-on-one for a private pizza and wine dinner with him. Even my fat ugly ass. I wish I could accurately describe just how creepy he was. One time he came out into the green room in his underwear and a boner because he thought it was funny. It’s clear it was behavior he had gotten away with for decades and never thought to let go of it. If a no-nothing like him has that level of confidence, I can only imagine the craziness that goes on with people that have more weight.


Outside of that we know so many stories including children like the Coreys. Luckily that part seems to be changing. Just not far enough yet.

I am convinced that once Dan Schneider dies there will be an absolute dam break of sexual assault cases against minors within Nickelodeon coming to light. In the meantime I feel like nothing will change and post harvey this will slide back into secret/not secret business as usual, where rare voices peak their heads out for brief seconds only to be ignored same-day. But hey at least we will continue to get music that references these things directly/indirectly.

Both my mom and dad modeled in the 80's and told me the same stories. Was totally normal for people to talk about fucking 10-14yr olds strung out on drugs at after parties and if you said anything about it people just stared at you like you were a retarded child who didn't understand how things worked or would say as much to you.
