This is pretty common in modern parenting "thought" or whatever - giving your kids a better sense of ownership of their bodies supposedly makes them harder for predators to groom.

No idea whether there is good research backing this up, but on its face it doesn't seem entirely unreasonable.

Its a good thing to also reinforce because there are some people I've known who have been taken advantage of by family members.
