You are the only one attempting to do doing that. We are asking where it ends
Trump asked that same question yesterday during his press conference.
It ends when we get white supremacists to stop rallying and protesting the diversification of America? Idgi, people are shocked that the public at large is fuming at a bunch of Nazis running over protesters in 2016 AD? Nazis who are only there and protesting cause a monument of an enemy to America is being taken down?

He asked because Jefferson and Washington owned slaves and he said as much, seems like a reasonable question to me, since people are clamoring to take down Teddy Roosevelt monuments. I posed the question before his press conference. How that "equates" to a traitor I'm not sure.
I really really really like this enemy of america/TRAITORS rhetoric now
You can be mad at more than one thing. Being upset with Antifa since Nov =/= supporting nazis. I don't know where you get the idea that the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Sounds like you support antifa to me. Sounds like you support shutting down free speech and assembly with violence instead of ideas. Are your ideas that weak?
no statue will be safe
Sounds like your gotcha doesn't work on people who openly admit that it's ok to shutdown the speech of people advocating for straight racism.
Again, the false equivalencies don't work.

They only work on your side right, anyone who doesn't support antifa is a nazi supporter?
At least you admit you are all for shutting down free speech and assembly with violence. What could possibly go wrong there.
If only you could amend the constitution with violence
My god this tweet thread is amazing. So many people trying to pin other riots from almost a decade ago on Antifa. LOL
It's is nice that all of these Republicans are anti Nazis, KKK, and white supremacist, but none of them have called out Trump by name. Not stunning and brave.
I know you like to troll, but no one with a shred of critical thinking abilities believes both sides are equal. One is measurably more sinister and evil than the other, and that alone justifies what I'm calling for. That alone justifies why even Republican politicians are splitting from the president on this issue.
But you do you homey. You're making your mama proud I'm sure.

You keep throwing out "the sides aren't equal" I'm not saying they are, I'm saying both are trash.
You do you though and keep supporting political violence then cry about it when someone get hurt.
Who said anything about tolerating it? I sure didn't. I want it combated more effectively. What you're talking about is peacekeeping-- not rocking a boat, doing your own thing and trying to avoid conflict.
What I'm talking about is peace*making*. It's active. It's confrontational. And it's not easy to take a moral high ground and say violence is the answer *and back it up effectively*. It takes time, and energy, and effort. It means recognizing small victories that I, as an individual, can make, and counting my successes not in terms of history (which is glamorous), but in personal lives changed, which is often unseen and unknown. Peacemaking requires persistence and clarity. It is not fast, but it endures when it builds. I'm not advocating pleasantness-- but I would advocate empathy. Separating the person from their ideas or ideology. Attempting to understand how they got to the point they are at; even if you're never going to change Spencer's perspective, you can at least recognize its path in others, and you can challenge him on *his* terms. Not for his sake, but for the sake of reaching those who are still reachable. And for yours-- when you understand your opponent as a human, and not just as hateful ideology, pity becomes possible, kindness becomes possible. Note: not *tolerance*, but kindness. Going beyond ignoring them, turning your head and clucking your tongue, but reaching out to change people. Challenge their concepts, but not only see others as people, but force them to see others as people. It works!
But it's *NOT* easy. It requires swallowing your pride, it requires humility. It requires a genuinely open mind, but also a deductive mind, and a willingness to re-examine even your most dearly held sacred cows, if you want to lead. It requires personal, immediate sacrifice that you *actively* make. And it requires relying on your personal actions and decisions to make the difference, rather than waiting on others for change to come. Not from protesting (or at least not only protesting), not from voting (though you should of course make what differences you can that way), but from going out and *doing*. Not assaulting, but fighting words with words, and violence with kindness.
I'm not saying this like I'm some kind of perfect saint. I could definitely give more of my time. I could do more good. But "Good" isn't just "Not doing evil" or even "saying the right things" (let alone ambiguously believing the right thing(s)). It's an active. And if anyone's already doing that-- great! You're fighting racism, misogyny, poverty, hunger-- social ills of all kinds-- far better and more effectively than any punch to any Nazi's face.
