I'll agree that they were degrading pre Trump in that white people were getting very annoyed about black people airing their frustrations over being murdered by the police. But Dick Spencer and his ilk arrived in the public spot light with the Trump Train

That's because getting cops to stop murdering US citizens never needed to be about race, but then BLM goes and stirs the fucking pot and lets the crazies come out of the woodwork to yell about how much they hate whitey. There could have just been a national movement to hold cops accountable for their misdeeds and everyone would have gotten behind it, the end goal could have been accomplished. Instead people refuse to shut their whore mouths about race 24/7 and now we've got more racial animosity than I can recall at any point in my life and it is continuing to build on both sides. You've got Spencer and his ilk openly fantasizing about throwing out all the darkies while BLM, antifa and tumblr are screaming about how all the evil in the world stems from white people and how they should cow their heads and accept the process of dehumanization for all their ancestors' crimes. No one is deescalating either, it's all just ramping up to eleven.
