How are you going to rewrite his tweet for him? If he meant to say he would have gotten a gun anyways, then he can say that, but he didn't. He literally said if he didn't have a gun this would have been worse. Are we really at a place where we read a presidents tweet and then contemplate how to reword it so it makes sense? Stop doing that, he doesn't make sense because he's unfit to be in the office.

No one in the church was armed from the reports I've seen. That's clearly the answer here though. Everyone needs to bring a gun to church. To be safe.

But it's still a dumb talking point that has nothing to do with stricter enforcement. I can't wait until armed citizens go to help like these two people and end up hitting innocent bystanders in the process.
