Below is a great video that shows some insight on the rise, fall, and climb back up with NJPW. I didn't realize just how molten hot Yugi Nagata was and Inoki ruined him among others. Watching Inoki close fist punch Nakamura in the face after he loses a MMA fight was insane to see. Also, one of Inoki's boys looks like he's shooting on Tanahashi fucking him up pretty bad. Great video to get the hype train rolling with less than 24 hours away from Wrestle Kingdom 12.

To summarize, he said every year some new tag team comes out and gets the internet buzzing, saying they are the best in the world. 6 months to a year later, one of the guys gets injured or they split up and are never heard from again. For 14 years, they have been around, innovating the industry, and being the best. "Some people don't know how appreciate greatness when they see it." RP3K was there and he basically reiterated his general point by directing it at them, others are saying RP3K are the best and finished with "I give it 6 months."

Less than 12 hours until showtime boys! Is anyone else watching live? I'm EST and it starts at 2AM I believe. Going to basically do a nap and then make the strongest coffee I can. I honestly haven't been this excited for a wrestling event since I can't even recall. Only things I recall being legit excited for was Brock's first title match since returning where he mauls Cena and Cena/Brock/Seth at the rumble.

I've watched almost all of their shows live for a couple years, but less than 12 hours to go, I have no idea. Last night I barely got any sleep and it's not looking good for being able to get a nap this evening, unless I try to sneak maybe an hour or two just before the start. I may try to just power through this, but more than likely either waking up for the final 4 matches or waiting and watching tomorrow afternoon.

I'd be too worried that I'd just get to matches 3-5, and as those are the matches I have the least interest in, would probably fall asleep and not wake up.
