I mean, I guess that's as good as a finish as we could ask for from a clean finish that doesn't have Johnny winning... Still though, what a waste. How does Gargano come back from giving Almas the hat trick?

Curtain call??
Nope, there’s Ciampa.
YES
FUCK CIAMPA
Fuck Ciampa?
That was perfectly handled. Made it look like a curtain call as mentioned above, then Ciampa with the "I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!"
My stream cut out with Candice consoling Johnny in the ring, and cut back in to Johnny laid out on the ramp and Candice saying "Your back's bleeding". So I didn't even get the fucking payoff. Great.
Ciampa vs Gargano at Takeover New Orleans is gonna be incredible.
I wasn't able to watch New Beginning Day 2 live, so I checked spoilers to see if I should go back and watch it.
Short answer: Yes, 100% watch it if you have the chance (at least the last 3 matches).
Spoiler recap from Reddit:
Spoiler: show
Takeover was A. Not giving it a + because as of right now Moon is not champ material and needs to step it up. Not that I thought Bazler should've won, but at least she has something about her (submission magician and ruthless) while Moon is just, well, there. Promos are garbage and her constant screaming is getting real annoying real quick.
Glad Almas won. He's improved a ton since arriving and proved he's not a bust. Now, time to watch New Beginning!
Gotta watch NJPW in a bit. Dont think I could watch 6 hours of the Rumble(incl. Preshow) though.
What a 12 hour span for wrestling. Can't wait for the Rumble to ruin it!
New Beginning:
Spoiler: show
Gah I have a concert during Royal Rumble. First time I won't be watching it live in years. Despite the shit from the past few years, it's still one of my favorite match concepts.
Ignoring "LOL Big Show and Kane are going to unceremoniously throw out anybody you care about" or "Randy Boreton wins" the match itself can and should be enjoyable. Even with a very narrow field of possible winners, it still can be fun. The biggest problem to me is having rumble fatigue by the end of the show.
Remember when Hell in a Cell was a huge deal, not just something they do because the PPV schedule dictates it? (Insert MITB, Elimination Chamber, etc.) We haven't even been to the first show where there are two "rumble" matches and I already am terribly worried about the slog that it'll be to get through them.
Holy fucking shit at the main event and after match bits. If you love wrestling for great storytelling do yourself a solid and at minimum watch the main event and closing.
edit: Whoops forgot to say, it's for NJPW. And Cody Rhoads is fucking money.
Watched takeover last night. Johnny wrestling vs fuck ciampa is going to be an amazing blood feud. New Orleans is so lucky to be getting that
Worst match of takeover was Dream carrying Ohno. Botchy as hell seemed to me at least.
As great as Gargano/Almas was I enjoyed Black/Cole more. Sure it wasn't as technical wrestling wise, but I'm personally a bigger fan of Black & Cole over Gargano & Almas.
Would fucking love it if Black showed up at the Rumble tonight. /fingerscrossed.
This opening match is sad, there's nobody there to react to anything lol. 6 hour PPVs ugh
Triple moonsault was sick tho
