Finally watched the RR since I wasn't able to watch live yesterday (and avoided spoilers!). Both Rumbles were booked pretty well, and I'm glad they didn't waste the opportunities on people that didn't need the wins (Roman, Cena, Orton mainly). I am kinda pissed how they brought Ronda in though. Instead of people talking about the women's Rumble, they'll be talking about Ronda. I'm glad Ronda and Stephanie didn't enter the Rumble, but they should have saved Ronda's debut for Raw.

Minor thing, but I laughed when I noticed Michelle McCool was still doing the AJ ripoff gimmick considering he's in WWE now. When she went for the Styles Clash, all I could think of was "really?"

Rad that Lita was still able to bust out the moonsault, but I was a little bummed that she seemed to be pretty much wiped out after only a few minutes in the ring. Trish and Molly can still go though, for sure.

Women's was pretty good too. Not a fan of McCool eliminating 5 people and Nikki eliminating 4 but ah well.

Seriously. This was the first thing that came to mind.

All in all, 2 good rumble matches. Even though there were still a few guys that didn't need a win there considering possible Mania plans, they did a good job having a lot of time with only having people in there that could be conceivable winners. Yeah, I'll even include Mr. Ziggles in there. I do have a couple issues with the men's rumble, but those aren't as huge a deal as some of the problems recent years have had.

1. Did anything actually come from this? Cena eliminated Elias, Hardy and Wyatt eliminated each other. Was there anything else really noteworthy to continue current things or kick-start potential future things? Corbin threw a hissy fit so he can stay strong, but probably won't have anything to do with those guys.

2. Long durations, low action. Some of these people that were in there for 20-30 min and I'm not sure what any of them did between their entrance and their exit. You don't need to have a ton of eliminations or even some intricate spot, but if you're spending 20 minutes just to chill in the corner or hanging on to the ropes the whole time, what's the point?

But yeah, that's about all I have in the "bad" column and those aren't such a huge deal in the big picture to me. While I haven't ever been much of a Mysterio fan, that return was cool, he looks trimmed down from last time I saw him, and I'd be ok with him having some sort of a run here.

The women's rumble was a success. There were some expected rough parts, but it was a pretty well laid out match. 5 eliminations for McCool is probably the biggest issue I had with it and I missed whatever happened before Naomi's spot, so I was puzzled how like 5 people in the match were outside the ring. I know the answer is Nia Jax, but that just seems a little silly. Not a huge deal. Recent years there have been more and more people spending time outside the ring anyway. One of my main issues with much of this women's revolution is often I want them to show me, not tell me. This was one of the best examples of them getting it right. Not because they main evented a major ppv. This could have been the first match of the night and I'd still feel that way.

It's too bad the way the ended the show. I get why they did that, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Congrats, you just won the inaugural women's rumble match. Please stand here seemingly forever while someone walks in and takes your spotlight. If there were an attack or something, maybe I'd begrudgingly be fine with it.

In my opinion, there was no better way to introduce Ronda if it had to be in this PPV. Asuka remains looking strong and you protect Rousey from looking completely out of her element in a rumble match.

Yeah she could’ve been introduced tonight on Raw, but we all knew they were going for maximum impact for her debut.

Kelly Kelly at least was a wrestler even if she wasn't a good one. Torrie Wilson did stripping matches and angles, and she did take the time to learn Tajiri's back handspring elbow. Stacy Keibler was just a valet 99% of the time.

Is that last one a qualifying match, or independent of it? I'm all for Braun getting to continue breaking shit, and Citizen Kane is a decent person for him to take his aggression out on, but at this point, what can they do? Tip a truck over on him? They've already done a ton of table-related spots with Braun, but they're at the point where they've hilariously raised the bar time after time with ridiculous stunts involving him.
