Kinda disappointed its down to only the one match for each block, having the possibilty of someone sneaking in the backdoor makes things interesting. That said, it coming down to Naito vs Tanahashi and Okada vs Omega is gonna make for some amazing matches.

EVIL is becoming one of my favorites. I really liked his 'fighting spirit' during him vs. Elgin.

I really don't know the way to explain how I feel about this G1. I think I set the bar way too high. There's been a lot of great stuff (mostly in A Block) but for half the shows I have felt a bit let down for one reason or another. Hopefully that'll change with the Ryugoku shows.

Night 16 stuff:

Okada has been the one top star in his block whom I really feel has "brought it" each time. Yeah, I know, that's the point. He's worn down, gives a reason why Omega can beat him sub-30. Omega has been very hit or miss with me, and Suzuki has been even worse. Ok, he's a monster. Got it. Sorry, but got sick of his matches. They both saved up everything for their Okada match whereas that guy let caution to the wind. Fine.

Fuck these "semifinal" matches rather than having at least one alternate scenario on one side even with an unlikely Fale/ZSJ/EVIL finalist. Yes, they were both great as main and co-main at WK. They did it again at Dominion and nailed it again. Do I need the same pair of matches again with the other 4 matches on each show being basically "exhibitions"?

At least Kenny didn't match Okada's total. Thus, we'll have Okada being a dick, probably trying to stall early and late. Naito did early on last year, but I forget if he tried when it was around the 25min mark, since he only needed the draw then too.

The change on his music is dumb. It's not terrible like adding "burn it down" for no reason, but his old music just worked. The graphics for the intro too. Now it's just generic flames? Cool.
