Nah, fuck freeza, fucking bring back Cell. He'd get a goddamned hoot out of a tournament of power, and I'd be damn sure Mr. Perfect Cell, Goku, Gohan and Vegeta would have a goddamned field day.

This ain't TFS and (lol @LogicInDBS) Freiza makes more sense with respect to skills and power.

Would love for Freeza for comedic purposes:

- He fears Beerus
- Beerus and/or Goku forces him to join
- The amount of bickering he can get into with Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and even Krillin would be hilarious. As seen during his time in DBS/movie, Goku views him on friendly terms at least. Vegeta still hates him of course. Freeza is just as arrogant with both of them despite being outmatched. It's all comedy gold.
- Freeza can't technically kill any of his team mates, because he'll still fear Beerus's retaliation
- Beerus acting as team dad to control all of them would also be funny
- Using Freeza to shoo out the clowns for the tournament would be handy, then shoo himself out (via disqualification) for the real action. I'm not sitting through 20 eps of insignificant cat fights or fights that are not DB-material worthy amongst 80~ characters

As Vegeta is technically not confirmed yet (I think? -- despite the posters/opening, lets just say for story purposes), Ep 93 does seem real in that sense. Basically it'll lead up to Vegeta refusing to participate, so Goku visits Freeza. Naturally, negotiations probably fall apart, then Vegeta gets pissed at Goku for even thinking that, and then participates himself.

Basically it'll lead up to Vegeta refusing to participate, so Goku visits Freeza. Naturally, negotiations probably fall apart, then Vegeta gets pissed at Goku for even thinking that, and then participates himself.

This is probably what's going to happen, a team dynamic with Freeza in it is naturally more interesting but fuck if the people writing this know what they're actually doing (OH YOU'VE BEEN SECRETLY TRAINING).

Cell has the potential to go way beyond Frieza. All Cell did was be born and absorb androids. He's also never trained.

He has Frieza's cells and should have his ability to get strong fast. Then he has Vegeta/Goku Cells on top of that(and he's also shown equivalents of ssj and ssj2 via his yellow aura and lightning yellow aura. No reason he wouldn't be able to get an equiv of ssjblue). If they brought him back and brought him to the hyperbolic time chamber until the tourney started, he should be able to get way stronger than Golden Frieza

I mean it wouldn't be a retcon or something they pulled out of left field. He's already announced/confirmed that he has Frieza's and king cold's cells in him. Not to mention this line from the anime
"Like Piccolo I can fully regenerate as long as my core remains. Like the Saiyans my power increases greatly after I heal from near death, and like Frieza I can survive anywhere."

Also

- Freeza can't technically kill any of his team mates, because he'll still fear Beerus's retaliation

He's only gonna be alive for 24hrs and back to hell anyways. I don't think he'll fear going back to hell a few hours early
